EP 13 | Andrew Luster: The Millionaire Monster

He was the multi-millionaire heir to the Max Factor cosmetics empire, living a life of absolute privilege on the California coast. But behind closed doors, Andrew Luster was using his fortune to fund a horrifying hidden life as a serial predator—drugging, raping, and videotaping his victims.

When the law finally caught up to him, Luster didn't just stand trial; he cut off his ankle monitor and vanished. What followed was a wild international FBI manhunt that ended with a chaotic, televised capture in Mexico by Dog the Bounty Hunter.

Luster was handed a staggering 124-year prison sentence. Justice was served. Or so we thought.

Now, thanks to a staggering legal loophole, this millionaire monster is on the verge of walking completely free—nearly a century early. In this episode of The Slippery, we break down the pedigree, the predator, and the terrifying systemic failure that's about to open his prison doors.
